Agreement and Acceptance

Opening a Slotornado account creates a binding arrangement between the account holder and us. Ticking the acceptance box is not a formality. It confirms that the person has read these terms, the game rules and any promotion conditions shown at the point of joining, and agrees to be held to them.

These terms sit alongside several other documents that carry equal weight. The privacy notice explains how personal data is handled, the responsible gambling commitments describe the tools and limits we offer, and each game has its own help file. Where a specific promotion or game rule addresses a point directly, that specific rule takes priority over the general wording on this page. When two documents appear to say different things, players should ask our support team before acting, rather than picking the reading that suits them.

Acceptance also carries an acknowledgement of risk. Every casino game is built with a mathematical edge in favour of the house, and real money can be lost quickly. Nothing on this site promises a win, a return or a particular experience. We would rather a new player close the registration screen and come back later than click through without reading.

A practical habit we recommend: save or screenshot the version of the terms in force on the day an account is opened, and again before any large deposit. If a disagreement ever arises, a dated copy of the wording makes it far easier to resolve.

Who May Register

Registration is open only to adults who meet the legal gambling age in the province or territory where they live and play. In most of Canada that means 19 or older. In Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec the minimum is 18. A birthday next month does not count; the applicant must already be of age on the day the account is created.

Age is only one part of eligibility. We also decline or close accounts in the following situations:

  • The applicant is currently enrolled in a self-exclusion program, with us or through a provincial scheme that applies to them.
  • The person is acting on behalf of someone else, or registering for a business rather than as an individual.
  • The applicant's location falls in an area where we cannot lawfully accept real-money play.
  • Previous conduct on a Slotornado account led to a permanent closure.

Each account is personal and may be held by one natural person only. Lending an account to a partner, roommate or friend, even for a single session, breaks this rule and can void any balance built up during that time.

We verify age and identity as part of normal account checks, and in some cases before any deposit is accepted. Registering with a false date of birth does not get around this. It simply means the account will be stopped, usually at the moment the player least wants it to be, such as when a withdrawal is requested. Honest details at the start save everyone a frustrating conversation later.

Jurisdiction and Location Restrictions

Gambling law in Canada is set province by province, and the rules are not uniform. Some provinces allow real-money online play only through operators they have specifically authorized. Others take a different approach. Where a player happens to be physically located at the moment of play matters, not just the address on the account.

For that reason, access to Slotornado depends on location. We may use technical signals, including the network connection and the details supplied at registration, to work out where a session is coming from. If those signals point to a province or territory where we cannot offer a particular service, that service will be restricted or unavailable. The restriction can apply to real-money games, to certain promotions, or to the whole account.

Masking a location with a proxy, a virtual private network or similar tools is not permitted. Players who do it put their own balances at risk, because winnings collected from a restricted location can be withheld and the account reviewed.

Travel causes more confusion than deliberate evasion does. A player who opened an account at home and then logs in during a work trip to another province may find that the lobby looks different, or that some features are switched off. That is expected behaviour, not a fault. Checking what is allowed in the current location before topping up is the sensible move, and our support team can confirm what applies if the on-screen information is unclear.

Account Creation

Setting up a Slotornado account takes a few minutes, but it is worth slowing down at two moments: choosing the account currency and reading the confirmation screen. Accounts for Canadian players are normally held in Canadian dollars, and the currency chosen at sign-up cannot always be changed later without closing the account and starting again.

The registration form asks for a legal name, date of birth, residential address, contact details and a password. We use this information to confirm eligibility, to protect the account and to meet our legal obligations. Fields are not decorative; each one feeds into a later check.

Creating an account does not mean every feature switches on immediately. Some functions, including withdrawals and certain deposit options, may stay locked until verification is complete. A welcome offer described elsewhere on the site will not attach itself automatically either. The registration flow or the cashier will show whether an offer is available and what has to be done to claim it.

A small example of what tends to go wrong: someone signs up on a phone, types a nickname in the name field to be quick, and plans to fix it later. Weeks afterwards, the name on the account no longer matches the identity document, and the first cash-out stalls. Using the full legal name from the outset avoids this. Once the account is open, it can be accessed from any supported device with the same credentials.

Accuracy of Registration Details

Every detail supplied at sign-up must be true, complete and current. That sounds obvious, yet a surprising share of account problems trace back to a small inaccuracy that seemed harmless when it was typed. An old postal code, a maiden name used on one form and a married name on another, or a phone number that has since been reassigned can each hold up a request.

We rely on these details for several purposes. They help confirm age and identity, they let us contact the account holder about security issues, and they need to match the documents and payment methods used later. When the information on file and the information on a document disagree, we have to pause and ask questions before money moves.

Account holders are responsible for keeping their profile up to date. Moving house, changing a legal name or switching phone numbers should all prompt an update, either through the account settings where that option exists or by contacting support. Some changes require supporting documents, and we may not be able to process them instantly.

When Details Turn Out to Be Wrong

If we find that information was deliberately falsified, we may suspend the account, cancel bonuses and void winnings connected to the false details. Honest mistakes are treated differently. A player who notices a typo and tells us promptly is in a far better position than one who waits until a withdrawal flags the mismatch. We would always rather hear about an error early.

Single-Account Expectations

One person, one account. This is among the firmest rules on the site, and it applies regardless of how many email addresses, devices or payment methods someone has. Opening a second Slotornado account, for any reason, is not allowed.

The rule exists for practical reasons. Multiple accounts are the usual route for collecting the same welcome offer more than once, for getting around deposit limits, and for slipping past a self-exclusion. Each of those undermines either fairness to other players or the protections that are there for the account holder's own benefit.

We also look at households. Where several adults share an address, a computer or a home network, our systems may notice the connection. Shared circumstances are not a breach in themselves, and family members can each hold their own account. However, promotions may be limited to one per household or per device, and the conditions shown with each offer will say so where that applies.

When we identify duplicate accounts, we will generally keep one open, close the rest and review activity across all of them. Bonuses gained through the extra accounts can be removed, and winnings tied to them may be withheld. A player who has forgotten an old login is far better off asking support to recover it than registering fresh. Recovery is quick; untangling two accounts after the fact is not, and it rarely ends in the player's favour.

Account Security and Credentials

A password is the main thing standing between an account balance and anyone who wants to spend it. We protect our systems with technical safeguards, but the account holder controls the credentials, and that half of the arrangement matters just as much.

The basics are simple. Choose a password that is not used on any other site. Do not share it, write it on a sticky note beside the laptop, or save it on a shared family computer. Where we offer extra verification steps at login, switching them on is worth the few seconds it adds. Logging out after playing on a device that other people use is another small habit that prevents real problems.

Activity carried out with correct login details is treated as activity by the account holder. If a partner or child uses saved credentials to place bets, we cannot usually reverse those transactions, because from our side they look identical to the owner's own play.

Anyone who suspects that someone else has accessed their account should change the password straight away and contact our support team. Signs to watch for include unfamiliar login alerts, a balance lower than expected, or settings that have changed without explanation. We will investigate, may temporarily freeze the account while we do, and will explain what we find. Reporting quickly gives the best chance of limiting the damage.

Account Rules

Game Rules and Outcomes

Each game on Slotornado has its own rules and paytable, available from the information icon inside the game. Those rules set out how wins are calculated, which symbols or hands pay, what features exist and any maximum payout. They form part of these terms, and players should read them before staking real money, especially on a title they have not tried before.

Outcomes are determined by random number generation or, for live dealer tables, by the physical game in front of the camera. Past results do not influence future ones. A slot that has not paid for an hour is not "due", and a run of reds at the roulette wheel says nothing about the next spin. We mention this because chasing patterns that do not exist is one of the quickest ways to lose more than intended.

Return-to-player figures, where shown, describe long-term theoretical averages across huge numbers of rounds. Over a single evening, actual results can sit far above or far below that figure. The house edge remains, and over time it works against the player.

Where a game result and the account record disagree, the server-side record of the round decides the outcome. If a round appears to have settled incorrectly, players should note the game name, date, time and round identifier if one is shown, and contact us. The full range of titles can differ by province, so a game seen elsewhere may not appear in every lobby.

Deposits and Payment Ownership

Funds can only be deposited from payment methods registered in the account holder's own name. Topping up with a parent's card, a partner's bank account or a friend's wallet is not permitted, even with their blessing. This protects the owner of the payment method, and it protects the player too, since a deposit from a third-party source will typically freeze withdrawals until the matter is resolved.

The methods available depend on the province, the account currency and the stage of verification. The cashier shows the options open to a given account at that moment, along with any minimums, maximums or charges that apply. We do not list fixed figures here because they can change, and the cashier is the reliable reference.

A few points that save trouble later:

  • Deposits should be made for the purpose of play, not to move or store money.
  • Withdrawals are usually returned to the same method used to deposit, where that method supports it.
  • Reversing a completed deposit through the bank, after funds have been played, can lead to account closure and recovery of the amount.
  • Deposit limits set by the player apply immediately when lowered, but increases may take effect only after a waiting period.

We may ask for proof that a payment method belongs to the account holder, such as a partial card image or a statement with sensitive numbers covered. That is a routine check, not an accusation.

Withdrawals and Identity Checks

Before we release winnings, we need to know that the money is going to the right person. That is why the first withdrawal from an account, and sometimes later ones, will trigger identity verification. Typical requests include government-issued photo identification, proof of address and confirmation of the payment method. The exact documents asked for depend on the account and the amount involved.

Players who upload clear, complete, in-date documents early tend to have a much smoother experience. Blurry photos, cropped edges and expired cards are the most common reasons a check takes longer than it needs to. Sending everything in one go, rather than piecemeal, also helps.

Withdrawal requests are reviewed before payment. We may hold a request while we look at unusual activity, an unmet bonus condition, a mismatch between profile and documents, or a payment method in a different name. Any pending bonus terms must be satisfied first, otherwise the bonus and associated winnings can be removed. Timing depends on the method chosen and on how quickly verification completes, so we do not promise a fixed turnaround.

Some players cancel a pending withdrawal and replay the funds out of impatience. We would gently suggest resisting that urge. If a request seems stuck, contacting support for an update is the better route. More detail on the process is set out on our withdrawal page.

Promotional Terms

Every bonus, free spin offer or reward on Slotornado comes with its own conditions, displayed alongside the offer or in the account at the time it is made. Those specific conditions govern how the promotion works. A banner, an email or a headline on a landing page is a summary, and summaries leave things out.

The details worth reading closely are the ones that usually cause disputes. Playthrough requirements decide how much must be staked before bonus funds turn into withdrawable cash. Game contribution rules determine whether a favourite table game counts towards that total at all. Expiry dates, maximum bet sizes while a bonus is active, and caps on winnings from free spins can each change the real value of an offer considerably.

Eligibility Comes First

Seeing an offer described on the site does not mean a particular account qualifies for it. Eligibility can depend on location, account history, verification status and previous bonus use. Some offers need a manual opt-in, a code or a qualifying deposit made within a set window. If the cashier or promotions area does not show an offer as available, it should be treated as unavailable for that account.

We may withdraw or amend a promotion where we see abuse, such as coordinated play across linked accounts or betting patterns designed only to clear conditions with no real risk. Declining a bonus is always an option, and for some players it is the better one. Current offers are on the bonus page.

Prohibited Conduct

Most players never come close to the behaviour described here. Still, we think it is fair to set out plainly what will lead to action on an account, so that nobody is surprised.

The following are not allowed on Slotornado:

  • Using bots, scripts or any automated software to play games or claim offers.
  • Colluding with other players, sharing information during live games, or arranging outcomes.
  • Knowingly exploiting a software fault, pricing error or glitch rather than reporting it.
  • Depositing funds that come from criminal activity, or using the account to move money for others.
  • Abusive, threatening or harassing messages to our staff or to other players in chat.

This list is not exhaustive. We also act on fraud of any kind, attempts to get around self-exclusion or location controls, and deliberate interference with the site or its systems.

Where we have reasonable grounds to suspect prohibited conduct, we may restrict the account while we investigate. Depending on what we find, outcomes range from a warning to the removal of bonuses, the voiding of affected winnings and permanent closure. In serious cases, particularly where fraud or money laundering is involved, we may be required to share information with the relevant authorities. We will not always be able to explain every detail of an investigation, but we will tell the account holder what decision has been made and on what general basis.

Technical Errors and Interrupted Play

Connections drop. Browsers freeze. Phones die mid-spin. None of this is unusual, and our games are designed to handle it. In most cases, a round that was in progress when the connection failed is either completed on the server or restored when the game is reopened. The account balance will reflect the server's record of what happened.

Players who lose connection should resist the urge to spin again immediately on a different tab. Reopening the same game and checking the game history usually shows how the interrupted round ended. If the history does not match what was seen on screen, note the time, the game and the stake, and send those details to support.

A different situation arises when the error is on our side: a malfunctioning game, a display fault that shows the wrong payout, or a promotion credited in error. Where a fault produces a result that the rules of the game would not have produced, that result can be voided, and any affected stakes returned. "Malfunction voids all pays and plays" is a standard principle in casino gaming, and it applies here.

We understand that having a big win reversed because of a fault is upsetting. We do not void results lightly, and we explain what went wrong when we do. Equally, if we credit an account by mistake, we are entitled to correct it, and account holders are expected to tell us when they spot an obvious error.

Suspension and Closure

An account can be closed by the player at any time. The simplest route is to contact support and ask, or to use the closure option in the account settings where it is offered. Before doing so, it is wise to withdraw any remaining balance, since a closed account with funds in it creates extra steps for everyone. Players closing an account because gambling has become a problem should consider self-exclusion instead, which offers stronger protection than a simple closure.

We may also suspend or close an account. Common reasons include a breach of these terms, incomplete or failed verification, suspected fraud, duplicate accounts, play from a restricted location and concerns about the player's wellbeing. A suspension is usually temporary and lets us look into a specific issue. A closure is more permanent.

During a suspension, the account may be locked for play, deposits, withdrawals or all three. We will normally say what we need in order to lift it, such as a document or an explanation of certain activity. Answering promptly and completely tends to resolve these matters faster than repeated messages asking for a status update.

When we close an account, legitimate balances that are not linked to a breach will be returned, subject to verification. Bonus funds and winnings connected to prohibited conduct may be forfeited. Closure does not cancel any obligation that already existed, such as money owed back to us because of a reversed deposit.

Player Agreement

Refund and Dispute Requests

Disagreements happen, and we would much prefer to hear about one than have a player stew over it. The first step is always to contact our support team with a clear explanation of the problem. Strong complaints are specific ones: the date and time, the game or transaction involved, the amount, and what the player believes should have happened. Screenshots help a great deal.

Support will try to resolve the issue directly. If the answer does not settle the matter, the complaint can be escalated for review by a more senior member of staff, who will look at the account records and the applicable rules. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to explain our reasoning, not just the outcome.

Refunds are limited. Stakes placed on games that settled correctly are not refundable simply because they lost. A deposit that has already been played through cannot be reclaimed after the fact. Refunds may be appropriate where a technical fault voided a round, where a duplicate charge occurred, or where we made an error on our side.

One thing we strongly discourage is raising a chargeback with the bank as a first move. It takes the dispute out of our hands, it usually leads to the account being frozen while the bank investigates, and it can result in closure. Talking to us first is faster and keeps the account open while the matter is reviewed. Our contact page lists the ways to reach the team.

Limits of Liability

We take responsibility for running Slotornado properly: offering fair games, holding player balances safely, applying our rules consistently and paying legitimate winnings. Where we fall short on those duties, we will put it right. There are, however, losses we cannot accept responsibility for, and it is better to state them openly.

We are not liable for money lost through normal play. Gambling involves risk by design, and a losing session is the expected result of a game with a house edge, not a failure on our part. Nor are we responsible for losses caused by a player's own internet provider, device, power supply or software, or by someone else using login details that the account holder shared or failed to protect.

Where a service is unavailable for maintenance, an outage or reasons beyond our reasonable control, we will work to restore it, but we cannot compensate for opportunities that might have arisen during the downtime. In cases where we are found liable, our responsibility is limited to the amount directly connected to the issue, such as a stake or a misapplied balance, and does not extend to indirect or speculative losses.

Nothing in this section removes rights that players have under the consumer law of their province or territory, or limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.

Responsible Gambling and Exclusion

Gambling should be a form of entertainment paid for with money set aside for that purpose. When it starts to feel like a way to fix money problems, or a source of stress rather than fun, something has gone wrong. We provide tools to help players stay in control, and we take requests to use them seriously.

Account holders can set deposit limits, session reminders and loss limits where these are offered. A short break, sometimes called a cooling-off period, locks the account for a chosen time. Self-exclusion goes further, closing access for a longer fixed period during which we will not reopen the account, even on request. Some provinces also run their own exclusion programs, and we respect those where they apply to us.

Once self-exclusion is active, the player should not try to open a new account, and we will close any we find. Promotional messages stop. Any balance left at the start of exclusion can be withdrawn, subject to the usual checks.

We also watch for signs of harm ourselves. Rapid increases in deposits, very long sessions or repeated cancelled withdrawals may prompt us to get in touch, apply limits or, in some cases, suspend play. We do this out of care, not suspicion. Anyone who is worried about their own gambling, or someone else's, will find guidance and support options on our responsible gambling page.

Changes to Terms

These terms will not stay frozen forever. Laws change across provinces, payment arrangements evolve, new games and features arrive, and sometimes we simply find that a clause could be written more clearly. When that happens, we update this page and change the effective date shown on it.

For changes that materially affect players, such as new restrictions on withdrawals, revised verification requirements or a different approach to inactive accounts, we will try to give notice before they take effect. That notice may come through an on-site message, an email to the registered address, or a prompt to accept the new version at the next login. Minor corrections, such as fixing a typo or clarifying wording without changing its meaning, may be made without separate notice.

Continuing to use the account after a change takes effect counts as acceptance of the updated terms. Players who do not agree with a revision are free to stop playing, withdraw their balance and close the account. Changes do not apply backwards to bets already settled or to promotions already claimed under the earlier wording, unless the law requires otherwise.

We suggest that regular players glance at this page every few months, and always before a significant deposit or when claiming a large offer. Comparing the effective date with the last version read is the quickest way to know whether anything has moved.
